The ancient weaving technique Ikat is woven in trendy smoke grey in an organized diamond motif. Most ikat fabrics today are prints mimicking the old way of dying the warp yarns to achieve a pattern before weaving. The streaks happened by accident as the warp yarns shifted in the process.
