Scalloped Valance cut to correspond with damask motif

Sometimes, we cut the valance to correspond to the pattern of the fabric as in this scalloped edge awning valance. The stripe also works out nicely, although it ends on alternate colors at each scallop interval. Planning the stripe may seem a small thing, but it would be very obvious if the alignment were off.
