Plum Wine Velvet has richness and color complexity that has been valued for centuries. The color is light enough to feel cheery, yet shifting in hue as the angle of light changes so that it feels European and organic despite the fact that it is an economical synthetic fabric. A knit backing provides maximum functionality as an upholstery fabric. The supple nature of the fabric makes it just as good for draperies and bedding. This velvet is thicker and has a bit more sheen than our Supreme velvet, and because it is all polyester, it doesn't retain dust and fuzz like a cotton or wool velvet.
